Advanced Systems Group (ASG) is a newly formed, stand-alone division of Brunswick, the world's largest recreational marine business. ASG provides a broad array of parts, accessories, and integrated systems to the global marine and RV industries. Our product portfolio spans from general marine accessories (anchors, cleats, seating hardware) to sophisticated digital switching and Li-ion battery systems. ASG sells directly to the world's largest boat/RV OEMs and also to retailers. We are seeking a team member who can lead the design and development of High Voltage Power Conversion Systems for a broad range of marine and mobile vehicle applications. The successful candidate will have several years of experience with vehicle electrification in automotive, offroad or other mobile industries. This position represents a chance to define the path the recreational marine industry will take for the development, integration and validation of high voltage energy storage and conversion systems. Essential Responsibilities Lead the design and integration of power conversion and distribution systems for recreational marine applications Multidisciplinary approach to designing and packaging a system for optimal size and cost Fundamental understanding of power conversion topologies and systems architecture optimization Design modular scalable solutions for a broad range of marine applications Coordinate with the marine battery charging systems development team to ensure compatibility Define functional safety requirements and verify compliance per ISO standards Define supplier requirements through battery pack and interface requirement documentation Define the operating environment and validation test acceptance criteria Understand and execute tradeoff studies between available technology solutions Manage partnerships with key suppliers to deliver on new product programs. Support compliance and certification to applicable standards for marine energy storage systems Train and mentor less experienced battery systems engineers Coordinate vessel-level system activities with the support of a cross-divisional team Work with all engineering disciplines needed to develop system requirements and architectures and establishes systems capabilities and operational concepts Span all phases of the product development cycle, from concept development and system architecture to product launch and field support Develop team capability to support future cost-effective electrification development Basic Qualifications BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Good knowledge of high voltage (350V+) power electronics Five or more years in engineering related to high voltage electronic systems Experience delivering multiple high voltage projects to an OEM Hands-on experience in the areas of systems integration, product verification and validation of large, complex systems into a multi-national organization Competency in coordinating cross-divisional activities Preferred Experience/Skills:
An advanced degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Experienced in the practical considerations of design for manufacturing Simulation of electric power and energy storage systems using best practice industry tools Materials science knowledge and material selection experience to meet design objectives Ability to evaluate system architecture trade-offs for Electric Propulsion Systems Experience performing competitive analysis either internally or through 3rd party engineering firms Knowledge of electrical safety standards This position is based in the ASG Tech Center in the Grand Rapids/Lowell Michigan area. This is the primary location for our North American product development and testing facilities. About the Company:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
